Emily E. Ryan has been encouraging women with God’s Word for over two decades on stages and pages and in the chaos of everyday life. As a minister’s wife, mom of four, and junior high English teacher, she understands the challenge of balancing the heaviness of life with the holiness of the Lord. That’s why her messages are always grace-filled, Bible-based, and packed with practical ideas women can put into action right away.
From creative quiet times to unique Christmas messages to deeper dives into Scripture, Emily loves showing women how God meets us right where we are. She is a regular contributor to Guideposts devotionals, including Mornings with Jesus, and is the author of Guilt-Free Quiet Times and Who Has Your Heart? Emily and her family live in Texas, but you can avoid the heat and humidity by visiting her online at emilyeryan.com.
Analiese Delgado is a Lodi Academy alumna and recent Arizona State graduate with a degree in Spanish and a background in science. The adventure has been a learning curve in the practicalities of the walk of faith that is the basis of survival for Christians awaiting the return of Jesus. This seminar will explore those practicalities as Paul described in his letter to the Philippians—is it possible to go through life with a gentle spirit? Is God willing and able to handle any challenge we give to Him, leaving us to live life free from stress and anxiety and resting in His peace in the Twenty-first Century? Come and let’s talk.

As we come together this year, it is time to raise our voices in Hallelujahs to praise the Lord for keeping us through the ups and downs we’ve encountered while apart. Many who joined the One-Hour Choir returned with testimonies such as: “I never knew I could sing,” “This was easy and fun,” “What a blessing to do something like this together,” “I was always told singing is not for me, but this helped me get out of my comfort zone,” and many more.
All you need to join the One-Hour Choir is the willingness. All are welcome! Whether you are a professional singer, an amateur, or simply enjoy the sense of togetherness, come and let us rejoice in simple melodies. Our song this year is Jeffrey LaValley’s Hallelujah, Salvation and Glory. Let’s lift an Unshakeable praise together!

“Walking With Jesus: The Physical and Spiritual Benefits of Walking”
Our bodies were made to walk. This modest form of exercise, once such a staple of everyday life, needs to be given the Star Quality attention it deserves. An explosion of medical research over the past 10 years reveals surprising whole-body benefits of walking such as acting as a natural antidepressant, helping to regulate blood sugar, improving overall metabolic health, bone density, and increasing the size of the hippocampus, which helps to prevent cognitive decline.
Not only does walking improve our physical health, but it also improves our mental and spiritual health, and can deepen our connection with God. Have you ever noticed that in the Bible there are several references to walking with Jesus? There are not as many examples of sitting with Jesus! During this session, we will also discuss specific ways in which you can deepen your spiritual connection with God while walking and the many different ways that walking can improve our physical, mental, and spiritual health.
